Back fishing

Back fishing on Tuesday for me in NZ  but only on shore or from wharf   no boats at least it a start  I will be up at dawn to grab the spot on wharf as only two can go on because of keeping 2 mtre a part   :D

Just waiting for midnight as it a warm night down on wharf for a couple of hours to see if I can get a few snappers or kingies   Mike I am keeping well  you would love it here as never see snow just odd light frost not much fresh water fishing  but least we don't have fishing licence for sea fishing and it keep fridge stocked

Bit rusty at casting  with rod but once got into it was like old times on loco  five nice eatable snappers  good couple of hours fishing passed my spot on to next  guy waiting as tide in so only fishing off wharf

Hopefully we will be fishing again soon. Angling Trust have done some good work in putting forward what seems a workable plan...

Steve if every body stick to rules every body can get back fishing but it only need one idiot to mess up like here in N z the rule was no   boat to save coastguard having to turn out if needed but we watch last night  one rule breaker spoiling it but he got a shock coming back in lads on wharf wouldn't let in  till police arrived one big fine for him
